Good Monday morning!
We had the best long weekend. The girls have been off school since last Thursday and are sleeping in on their last day off today.
Sophia was so pumped about just having one day of school last week.
One day of school last week, happy kid.
We then packed our bags, made festive looking smoothies and headed out to Jinger’s Conferences and Book Fair before leaving for Great Wolf Lodge.
Book fair success. Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Pete the Cat. (Sophia… all cat everything…) What is it about a book fair that make kids want every single book in the place?!?!
On a very personal note, Jinger has been through a lot this year. She has been faced with so much adversity and though I don’t feel it appropriate to blog about (at this point, anyway) she is excelling in school. Her conference left us all smiling and we are so proud of her!
School out, conferences done, book fair marked off the list… And we’re off to GWL!
This was Jorgia’s first year staying home from GWL. Unfortunately, she had school on Thurs and Fri and stayed back home with my sister-in-law. Jorgia had a busy weekend of school, play practice, sleepovers, etc….
We always eat at Outback Steakhouse when we visit GWL. Nothing like a homemade game of memory on coasters while waiting for food to arrive!
kiddos indulged themselves… breakfast buffet style…
I hope these two stay besties forever.
We had a fun little trip and returned home exhausted. Jason made us chili and we called it a night. I had work early on Saturday and then this happened…
Both Jorgia and Jinger got their ears pierced 🙂
On Valentines Day, I slept in, sipped coffee, and was greeted with the sweetest little Valentine Card
… and enjoyed our day. I texted Jason this pic while he was on his way home from working on the new house. We were snowed in and enjoyed cocktail hour with my forever Valentine. 🙂
Thanks for reading today, friends! I hope you had a great weekend too- see you back here tomorrow! Xo
PS- see the other bloggers I’m linking up with here
