I’m linking up and sharing a few favorites from the week. Check out the fabulous bloggers I link up with here.

Last night, my mom’s BFF arranged a little last min surprise dinner with Kate and I and mom’s sister and we had the best little gal’s night out. We missed you, Allie…
Last weekend, Allie came to town and we watched the UL game together and she whipped up these amazing pumpkin frothy coffee drinks. I then remembered that I have this hand held mixer whisk thing (no idea what the proper name is- someone help!!) and I’ve been addicted to it since. Every morning begins with coffee, cream, pumpkin spices and the mixer…
… and there’s this. One day, Jinger was curious about turning half and half into whipped cream and so I taught her how to use it. Well, one morning before walking to school, she surprised me with a cup. Love that kid…
Yummy! Thanks to Jinger 🙂
Well, all three Hamilton girls are officially proud owners of the Apple Watch…
… and we are obsessed. Allie was the first to get one- She raved about hers enough that Kate and I were right behind her. Ohhh my goodness… I realize my level of nerd is up there and my husband reminds me of this every.single.time he sees my wrist, but I think its awesome. #hesjustjelly
My favorite part is the activity tracker. I’ve never used any kind of fitness tracker before, and I will swear that my watch motivates me to move around and stand more. (If I’ve been sitting too long, my watch will kindly let me know that I need to get up and stand). My Apple Watch.. my newest obsession 🙂
SOOOOO comfy and I think they are flattering for a colored jean (legging). I’ve decided that on days where denim is not quite dressy enough and I don’t feel like wearing dress pants- I throw these on and go. Problem solved…
In all of my outfits… there’s one thing that keeps happening….
… my most favorite fringe booties ever.
I found mine from a local boutique here in Louisville (Colonial Designs) if you’re local, and if not.. I also found them online here at Nordstrom. I LOVE the cut and how they don’t constrict my ankles. Mine are saddle faux suede but they also come in two different colors too. I love the ivory suede color. 🙂
There is something about finding artwork in the girls school folders that just makes me so happy.
I still want to frame some artwork for the girls office area upstairs, but for now, I keep them tucked away in ziplock bags. If I didn’t use ziplock bags as a yearly cut off for their things, I may never throw a thing away. Kid artwork is just so happy. I really could just cry looking at them…
A while back, I read Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty and decided to pick up another of her books…
The Husband’s Secret.
I’ve heard great reviews and found the perfect time to read… in the carpool line 🙂 A starbucks and good book are quickly becoming a favorite afternoon activity. I’m beyond thankful that I have a career that allows me to sit in the carpool line. Since we split time with kiddos, I don’t get to be in carpool everyday and I also realize being there is a huge luxury and do not want to ever take for granted.
Lunches like these… my favorite 🙂
This weekend is going to be busy…. Halloween class parties to attend at school, a Halloween carnival and parade tonight and a birthday party to honor Lili. 🙂 Here’s to hoping your weekend is fabulous! Thanks for reading HB, friends! XOXO
