And happy almost Valentines Day, too!
We’ve had sick kiddos in the house, a non working computer and internet (and when you work from home when your kid is sick… definitely makes for a good ole time…) and other than my first world problems, it has been a nice little week over here. Whole30 has me feeling great, Jorgia is off school today, Jinger and Sophia have a short day + Valentines parties in their classrooms and I’m just happy that its almost the weekend.
Random thoughts aside, I’m linking up and sharing a few favorites today!
Let’s get started!
You won’t regret it 🙂 Key West is such a beautiful island with the friendliest group of people and we just had the greatest time! I fell in love with everything about the town and I told Jason that I just want to pack our lives up and move our family to Key West and ride scooters to the local market and maybe sell some island real estate too:)

You know you’re a lucky lady when you come home from vacation and then get to continue the pampering with a surprise spa night from the girls..
On Tuesday, I blogged Part TWO of my new real estate series called “The Biggest Investment of Your Life” and if you missed it- catch up here. Even if you’re not looking to buy in the near future, here’s to hoping you gain a better understanding of the home buying process.
Speaking of, a while back (I’ve been meaning to post something like this for forever) a single mom with young children reached out and asked what a career in real estate really looks like. As in, she was interested in the average day in the life of a Realtor and wondered if it may be a good fit for her. After we talked for a bit- I thought, that might make a fun post! No two days are alike in real estate- but I’ll document a business day and share on HB soon.
Sophia was home sick with me on Wednesday and Thursday. While I hated the circumstances, I was reminded of those ‘olden days when she was little and always home with me. Lots of snuggling and PJ wearing. It’s true what they say…
The days are long and the years are sooooo short..
The chunkiest, snuggliest baby ever!!
|I mean I know I’m being dramatic here but the girls artwork is just so precious I could cry. My collection of homemade items is one of my most special possessions.|
… and that’s all I’ve got for today! I’m off to bake last min rice krispie treats and snacks for class parties this afternoon. Happiest Friday to you, happy Valentines weekend and stay warm out there… or just head to Key West 🙂 Thanks for reading today! XOXO
