It’s my first What’s Up Wednesday since I’ve moved over to WordPress and re designed a few things around here 🙂
On the last Wednesday of each month, I link up with several bloggers and share a bit of what’s going on around here. I love looking back on these 🙂 Here’s a list of all the random questions we answer…
Alrighhttty, let’s get started!
What We’re Eating this Week:
Is this an appropriate answer!?
Because I can’t get enough. I’ve heard all kinds of great reviews but never thought to pick it up. As the girls were picking out ice creams- I spotted a line of Halo and decided to try the chocolate out. It’s true what they all say… soooo good.
What I’m Reminiscing About:
That’s baby Sophia smelling the flowers in Spring. The sweetest scrunchiest nose in the world! How have five years already passed..
What I’m Loving
Now, I’m definitely not loving the fact that the Flu is literally EVERYWHERE IN LOUISVILLE, but I pulled out my tried and true essential oils during this time because unfortunately, my house has been hit. I’ve used my oils for a long time now and I owe it all to my cousin who introduced me to them- they are AWESOME.
RC, Thieves and Lavender have been on rotation- especially RC that contains Eucalyptus. Did you know that apparently Tamiflu uses an essential oil among its other ingredients? I thought that was interesting since essential oils are not currently FDA approved…
I’m not a Doctor or a certified anything but just a concerned momma who tries to be a well informed consumer. My cousin, Meghan, is extremely knowledgeable on the subject of essential oils- she is a Young Living distributor and my go to for all things oily 🙂 Let me know if you would like to get in contact with her- she can help you out 🙂
I’m also loving that I have I career that allows me to stay home and care for my sick girl, a supportive husband, and co parents who made it possible.
What I’m Up To:
Well, illnesses aside, we’ve been up to the same ole same ole.
When the weather is pretty.. we add walking home and hanging outdoors to the list…
I love that the girls still ask me to eat with them 🙂 Twice a month- I join the girls for school lunch 🙂
… a fresh cut for Spring…
and a quick trip for school project supplies and after school snack 🙂
What I’m Dreading:
Well, I suppose I was dreading my kiddos getting sick- and with one down, I’m hoping the others stay healthy. Dreading my husband catching the flu!! I keep telling him to stay strong… he’s one of the last standing!
What I’m Working On:
Right now, there is a big opportunity to own 90+ acres of land in Louisville! The possibilities are vast- from a subdivision to a golf course or whatever the new owner would like to use it for. If you have anyone in mind- please contact me! And if 90 acres isn’t your thing but a home is, I’m your gal for that too. Spring is here and the real estate market is busy busy busy.
What I’m Excited About:
Next week is Spring Break!!! We are staying home this year but have a slew of fun activities to plan. I’m just excited to spend extra time with my family.
What I’m Watching/Reading:
I’ve watched many of the basketball games- March madness is one of my favorite times of the year. Just wish we were still cheering the Cards and/or Cats on! Did you all watch the Cats play Sunday- what a heartbreaking loss!!
I just started reading this book above- and so far, so good.
I’m in need of more book suggestions- if you’ve read something great lately- do tell! 🙂
What I’m Wearing:
Well… I think I’ve just about worn this little image thing out:
Speaking of my most favorite grey sweater ever…
…. I found online in white! It’s white and light but not see through. I just threw this on right from the delivery bag to try with no tank underneath. Every now and then I have a hard time wearing white because of the see through thing but didn’t have that issue here.
And then, when the temps finally do rise…
… GAP went all genius and used this “softspun” material to create a racerback tunic… and I’m obsessed. The material is a dream!
What I’m Looking forward to Next month:
Ohhh April is a fun time to live in Louisville! Looking forward to all the Derby festivities 🙂 We are ready for Easter too- a little home tour coming soon. Stay tuned!
Well, that’s what’s up with us this month. See you back here Friday! Enjoy your day, friends! XO
