|well, thank you pinterest|
OK, here we go!
As promised in my first blog post, I am excited to introduce and share the who’s who that currently reside in my home… my F-A-M-I-L-Y
My handsome hubs Jason and I toasting to the Holiday Season
Jason and I met unexpectedly one night while my girlfriends and I were out celebrating my birthday. I was a busy single mom and didn’t get out often, but so glad I did that night! Jason was out with his buddies at a Van Halen concert and ended the night at a local restaurant/bar where my girlfriends and I happened to be. He walked by, wearing that same white shirt in the pic above, and I just KNEW that I would be married to him one day. We exchanged business cards (#nerdalert) because he claimed his phone was dead and I proceeded to call it…. and as that cliche saying goes… the rest is history.
Together, Jason and I share three precious girls: Jorgia, Jinger and Sophia. Jorgia and Jinger are Jason’s girls, Sophia is mine and together we make a family of five!
Here’s our oldest, Jorgia. Beauty, brains and the best big sister and role model I could have ever dreamed of for the girls. Jorgia is a busy high school student and aspiring actress- she just landed a huge role in her very first acting audition for an upcoming theater production here in town. The sky is truly the limit for this girl! She’s fourteen going on twenty five and the little girls think she is just the coolest. (I do too!) I love this girl so much, I’m so proud of her and can’t wait to watch her grow and live out all of her dreams.
Now on to our highlights of 2015… our first full married year and it was just that- FULL!
We kicked off 2015 with a low key NYE party at home…
|HAPPY NEW YEAR!|
… closed on our house, moved out in February and woke up in my childhood home while our search continued. Timing was everything here! We had just gotten my parents moved out and settled into their new home and in lieu of finding an apartment or rental for the interim, we moved into the home they had just moved out of. We were so thankful for the timing of the move(s) and believe we have the best “landlords” ever!

We had a blast on our family vacation to Sanibel Island in June!
July was filled with concerts, tennis lessons, swimming, celebrating the 4th, watching baseball games, celebrating cousin Emerson turning three, and soaking up our last days before school started.
August came, the girls started back to school, and we attended the Ky State Fair..
