Happiest Monday morning!
|I’m excited to link up with sone of my very favorite bloggers today!|
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!
Yesterday, our middlest “Chewy Bob – A – Louie” girl turned N I N E.
Almost exactly five years ago, I met this precious little four year old…
Here’s Jinger with her future little sis in 2012. 🙂
I remember that precious little size 3T Minnie shirt so well 🙂 It is so hard to believe these girls have grown up so much. Jinger was always my little helper with Sophia. She loved to help give baths, change her diapers, feed her, pick her clothes out, etc. I miss these days so much. Jinger is smart and wise beyond her years and it was evident at this age.
Just in case you’re new around here, I introduced Jinger in our family introductions post that you can read here and then recapped her Eighth birthday here.
2016 was a big year for Jinger. Jinger has experienced so much in her nine years, and she is one tough and resilient kid. She moved in and out of several homes, started a new school, made new friends, began and excelled in gymnastics and has adjusted to all of these things so well. I am so proud of her.
For her Ninth (!!!) birthday, we asked Jinger what she would like to do, and she came up with the following:
– Wake up with breakfast in bed,
– Celebrate at Lili’s House with strawberry cake
– Have Dad’s side of the fam over one night and eat ribs,
– Have Nana Debbie take her out birthday shopping, and
– Celebrate with friends at the Popcorn Station
… And we plan to do just that 🙂 Ha! We are celebrating all week over here.
Yesterday, Li Li had us over to celebrate Jinger over a Jersey’s Mikes sub and home made strawberry cake. Her decor was beautiful! Jinger was wearing a mood ring and said the color changed to “feeling loved” when she walked in 🙂 The look on her face was priceless…
Four of five of us was the best we got that day. Jorgia had a slight scheduling issue that afternoon 🙁
Happiest Birthday to the most kind hearted, loving, generous, special girl. Jinger brings so much JOY to our family. She’s going to do big things in life, and it is a privilege to watch her grow and be part of her journey. We love you forever, Jinger Alivia!
** One last thing before signing off for the day- a BIG thank YOU to all who entered to win a $100 Starbucks gift card! I announced the winner on Friday- congratulations to Karrie Ann!
